The creation of a new body of knowledge about existing academic programs, policies and methods, or the creation of an entirely new program, style, approach and implementation is called R&D at Akshara Centre for Excellence. The domain of research and development makes a significant contribution to the organization’s academic goals. It prominently designs the academic curriculum with applied knowledge, prospective goals, accelerating inventiveness, establishing schematic evaluation, and viable assessment planning. The R&D team focuses on continuous comprehensive teacher training, innovation in teaching methods, fostering creative ideas, simplifying knowledge reachability to students, and facilitating or impeding the effectiveness of self-managing teams at the branch level.

CURRICULAR AND PEDAGOGIC STRUCTURES

Akshara International Schools follows the IB PYP model, which has a curriculum that is interesting, pertinent, rigorous, and relevant for students. Through intercultural understanding, reverence, and global awareness, our curriculum strives to nurture future citizens who are inquisitive, competent, and compassionate and who will contribute to the development of a better and more peaceful world.

For children in the age group range of 3 to 12, the PYP aspires to develop a relevant, demanding, and significant curriculum. It is trans-disciplinary and concentrates on problems that go across academic disciplines. In order to prepare young students for successful lives, the curricular framework emphasises on the fundamental elements of knowledge, concepts, skills, attitudes, and action.
